England's Bellingham is destined to win Ballon d'Or

Bellingham has been at the top of the things after moving to the Spanish capital in the 2023 summer transfer window. The former Borussia Dortmund captain has already netted eight goals and delivered two assists for Real Madrid in this LaLiga season.

He was again at the forefront of the things as England defeated Italy 3-1 in the 2024 Euro qualifiers at the Wembley Stadium to book a spot at the upcoming championship in Germany. He delivered a crucial assist to Marcus Rashford, who scored the second goal for the Three Lions, allowing them to take a 2-1 lead in the 57th minute.

The midfielder has splendid control over the ball. He could dribble with both his feet, perform feints, progress forward, deliver crosses and get into the right spaces.

His FBref percentile of 99 in non-penalty goals and successful take-ons suggest that he is one of the best midfielders in European football at the moment.

The Birmingham born midfielder also has the tendency to deliver in crunch moments. His winning goals against Celta Vigo and Getafe in LaLiga, coupled with his winner against Union Berlin in the Champions League, are a testament of it. All three goals came after the 80 minute mark.

The 20-year-old is destined for big things. He could give the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland a tough fight for the Ballon d’Or in the coming years.
